Job summary

The University of Houston System invites applications for temporary adjunct faculty positions as a Field Supervisor for our Superintendent Certification program in the College of Education. The Field Supervisor will provide supervision, guidance, ongoing support, and formal observations for candidates enrolled in practicum courses.

As a non-tenure track position, the appointee will accrue no time toward tenure.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in school leadership or related field.
• Current, valid TEA certification as a Superintendent in Texas.
• Minimum of 3 years of district leadership experience in a Texas public, public charter, or accredited private school.
• TEA-approved Field Supervisor Observation Training for Advanced Candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision for candidates in practicum courses, including structured guidance and ongoing support.
• Conduct formal observations of candidates in practicum settings.
