Job Description – Economics Adjunct Faculty (Creekside Center)
Overview
This adjunct faculty position is a part-time role on a semester‑by‑semester basis. Adjunct faculty are hired contingent upon the needs of the System and student demand. Classes are offered day, evening, and weekend, at various times and locations during the academic year. A maximum of five classes per academic year may be taught as a general guideline.
It is the responsibility of the teaching faculty to provide learning activities and support that lead to the achievement of course objectives and contribute to the educational environment of the college and the community. Primary responsibilities are to plan, develop and teach courses within the curriculum in a manner that facilitates student learning.
The work is sedentary. The employee sits comfortably to perform the work; there may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying of light items, or driving. No special physical demands are required.
$55.44 per contact hour
