The College of Social Sciences andHumanities and its nine tenure units are the home of theExperiential Liberal Arts. Through its research, teaching, andengagement missions, the college collaborates across theuniversity, the Northeastern network, and partners around theglobe.


Responsibilities:

TheDepartment of Economics at Northeastern University seeks applicantsfor adjunct faculty in its undergraduate program on theNortheastern New York campus for the Fall 2026 semester. Applicantsqualified to teach microeconomics and macroeconomics at theintroductory level are encouraged to apply. Adjunct Faculty areresponsible for the preparation and administration of assignedclasses, including administering exams, holding appropriate officehours, and grading. Classes are taught on-site on the NortheasternNewYork campus, which is located in Manhattan, New York. Positions are contingent upon enrollment, funding, and programmaticneed.


Qualifications:

Ph.D. inEconomics preferred; master's degree required for undergraduateteaching. College-level teaching experience preferred.
