* English* Math* Biology* Economics* History* Political Science/Government* Sociology* Psychology* Physics* Chemistry* Art* Theatre* Speech/Communication* Business, Accounting* Criminal Justice* Agriculture* Elementary Education* Develop and manage the class syllabus and ensure that the syllabus meets department and college standards.* Plan and create lectures, in-class discussions, and assignments.* Assess grades for students based on participation, performance in class, assignments, and examinations.* Assist/mentor students as needed.* Other duties as assigned.* **Education:** Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the field is required to teach undergraduate courses OR a terminal degree in the field of study or closely related is required to teach graduate courses.* **Experience:** Minimum 3 years of teaching experience.* **Knowledge / Skills:** Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.* **Ability to:** Multi-task and work cooperatively with others.* **Licensing/Professional Certifications:** Recommended TEA teacher’s certification.* **Physical Requirements:** Ability to travel.* **Other Requirements:** Flexible schedule.* Candidates who hold current relevant professional credentials.* College or University teaching experience.* Evidence of teaching excellence.* Prior relevant industry experience.* Online or hybrid teaching experience.Welcome to East Texas A&M University, where we transform lives!
