Rowan University’s Communication Studies Department seeks adjunct instructors to teach Public Speaking and Digital Presentations. Candidates who can teach Interpersonal Communication, Business & Professional Communication, and Technical Speaking for Engineers are a plus.
Experience teaching online and working with Neurodivergent and Honors students is valued. Applicants must hold at least an MA or MS in Communication Studies (or closely related field) and have college-level teaching experience.

The ability to teach additional courses such as Interpersonal Communication, Business & Professional Communication, and Technical Speaking for Engineers is a plus. Experience in teaching online and working with Neurodivergent and Honors students is also a desired asset. Qualified candidates must have at least an MA or MS in Communication Studies (or a closely related field) as well as teaching experience at the college level. Having the flexibility to teach various times during the day, especially 8 AM is preferred.

and in accordance with the current MOA, Rowan University adjuncts are provided with a minimum of $2,225 per credit for all courses taught, with a maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year. Courses will be assigned to instructors by College & Department on an as needed basis.
