Adjunct faculty at College of DuPage are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings. Courses may be delivered in various modes, such as face-to-face, online, hybrid, or blended. Additionally, adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluation and the timely, accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.
These are non-credit, adult enrichment courses focused on personal growth and development, usually meeting once a week for three hours during weekday evenings or Saturday mornings for 1–4 weeks. No academic credit is awarded.
Experience in online or virtual teaching and the ability to teach remotely using technology are preferred. Access to personal technology and a home computer capable of supporting online instruction are required.
This position is paid via stipends for each course taught.
