Job summary

Arizona College of Nursing is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach on campus and in person, across classroom, online, and lab settings. The role supports a dynamic nursing education program focused on preparing students for entry into professional practice.

Under the supervision of the Dean of General Education, you will use lectures, demonstrations, and audiovisual tools to enhance learning, assess student achievement, and maintain a positive learning environment aligned with the curriculum.

Qualifications

• Experience in classroom teaching or training is preferred.
• Familiarity with online learning platforms and instructional technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide a learning experience in the classroom, online, and/or in the lab using a variety of teaching methods.
• Keep students engaged in a classroom environment while following an established curriculum/syllabus.
• Create a positive educational climate for students to learn, and communicate clear learning objectives.
• Meet course and school-wide student performance goals.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom/online and evaluate student performance.
• Identify and refer students who are at risk.

What You'll Do:
