Indiana Wesleyan University Nursing is seeking adjunct nursing faculty to support pre-licensure clinical education. Adjuncts will employ engaging teaching strategies to foster student learning and stimulate discussion, while integrating Christian faith into classroom content.

Qualified candidates will have an active Indiana RN license, at least 18 months of nursing experience, CPR certification, and the ability to coordinate clinical experiences in Marion and surrounding areas.

• Bachelor's prepared RN with an active Indiana license.

• Health Clearance as required by facility.
• 18 months of Registered Nurse experience.

Summary of Position:

Adjunct faculty are essential to providing a quality academic experience for Indiana Wesleyan University students. Adjuncts will employ a range of engaging teaching strategies designed to foster student learning and stimulate class discussion. Applicants must have appropriate academic or professional experience within the given academic discipline, demonstrate a passion for teaching and learning and be able to integrate their Christian faith into the classroom content.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Nursing: Pre-licensure, Clinical
• Marion, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis and/or surrounding areas

Qualifications:

According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.

Education

• Minimum Bachelor's prepared RN from an accredited university with an active Indiana license
• CPR Certification
• Health Clearance as required by facility

Experience

• Eighteen (18) months as a Registered Nurse
