Department Information

A department within the College of Business and Industry, the Department of Applied Engineering offers Bachelor of Science degrees in Applied Electronics Engineering, Applied Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Leadership, and Occupational Safety and Health Management.

In addition, the Department of Applied Engineering offers a Master of Science degree in Manufacturing Systems Technology.

• A terminal degree may be required for teaching graduate or doctoral courses. “Terminal degree” refers to the highest degree awarded in a discipline. The doctorate is the terminal degree for most disciplines represented at Jax State.
