Hudson County Community College is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member for the School of Humanities and Social Sciences in Academic Foundations, English. The starting rate for new adjunct faculty is $928.00 per credit.

Summary of Duties

About the School

The School of Humanities and Social Sciences Meta Major encompassesa number of disciplines, including Criminal Justice, HomelandSecurity, Human Services/Pre-Social Work, Addictions Counseling,Psychology, Sociology, History, and Education (Special Education,Infant/Toddler, Early Childhood, and Elementary/Secondary). Amongthe options of study encompassed by this Meta Major are Associateof Applied Science (AAS), Associate of Arts (AA), and Associate ofScience (AS) programs designed to prepare students for transfer tofour-year institutions and/or for entry-level careers. We alsooffer professional development certificates and programs inpreparation for immediate employment upon graduation as well asgeneral education courses required for all degree programs.

Qualifications

What You'll Need

Master's degree in the discipline or closely related field,required from a regionally accredited institution of highereducation. Preferred, college level teaching experience.
