Adjunct Faculty Pool | John R. Post School of Engineering | Remote

The John R. Post School of Engineering at Alvernia University invites applications to its adjunct faculty pool in Engineering Management. Courses are remote and largely asynchronous. Experienced engineering leaders, project managers, operations and manufacturing professionals, and other technical professionals are encouraged to apply, including those new to college teaching. Applicants should apply to the pool even when there is no immediate course need; qualified applicants may be considered for future semesters as needs arise. Candidates hired into the pool are contracted separately for individual courses as assignments become available. Pool membership does not guarantee a course assignment. Candidates should be comfortable creating engaging, accessible online learning experiences for working professionals and graduate students.

Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, Engineer in Training (EIT) certification, and/or Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is a plus. Experience with online teaching, graduate education, professional education, or workforce training is also valued.
