Job summary

YTI Career Institute, a subsidiary of Porter and Chester Institute, seeks an Electrical Technology Instructor (Part Time) in York, PA. You’ll bring real-world electrical experience into the classroom and lab, teaching hands-on skills with real equipment and scenarios designed to prepare students for licensing and real-world success.

No teaching degree is required; we provide curriculum, training, and ongoing support to help you transition from the field to the classroom.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years hands-on electrical experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical theory, wiring methods, and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage your day.
• Strong communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

Electrical Instructor – Put Your Experience to Work (No Teaching Experience Needed)

What You’ll Be Doing

As an Electrical Instructor, you’ll bring real‑world experience into the classroom and lab, showing students how the trade actually works — not just how it looks in a book.

You will:
