Job summary

Lone Star College-CyFair invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach Education (EDUC 1300) at varying times and locations, including day, evening, and weekend classes. Adjuncts are hired part-time semester-by-semester to meet student demand and may teach up to five classes per academic year.

• Master's degree and completion of institutional professional development.
• Adjunct, part-time teaching based on student demand.

Responsibilities

• Teaches EDUC 1300 courses at various times and locations.
• Creates engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material.
• Submits required college reports and forms in a timely manner.
• Utilizes a course syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelines.
• Meets with and advises students before or after class or by appointment.
• Evaluates students to measure progress and informs them of their performance.
