Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Photography or related field
• Three years of full‑time professional experience in digital photography
• Strong knowledge of digital camera systems, composition, lighting, and post‑processing techniques
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Lightroom
• Experience with studio lighting, portrait photography, and/or commercial photography techniques
• Ability to translate professional photography knowledge into engaging, hands‑on learning experiences
• Commitment to student‑centered teaching and continuous instructional improvement

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned material from the approved Digital Photography curriculum
• Develop engaging daily lesson plans and instructional materials using current digital tools and technologies
• Utilize student‑centered instructional methods that support diverse backgrounds, experiences, and learning needs of students
• Deliver hands‑on instruction that strengthens students’ technical and creative photography skills
• Meet all scheduled classes promptly and communicate any schedule changes through college channels
• Collaborate with faculty and program leadership to support the program’s development
• Maintain accurate instructional and student records and meet deadlines
• Contribute to team and program goals through related responsibilities
