Adjunct faculty teach one to three courses on campus per semester, do not accrue seniority, and are employed on a semester-by-semester basis. Adjunct faculty are hired by the Director of the Developmental Math Program, and they report to a full-time Developmental Math Program faculty member who serves as the coordinator for the assigned courses.
Specifically, adjunct faculty will:
A bachelor’s degree in mathematics or related field.
Seeking applicants who have a master’s degree appropriate for a secondary education teaching position, teaching experience at the secondary or post-secondary level, and the ability to plan and implement student-centered learning strategies, including the use of technology where appropriate.
