Monmouth University is seeking qualified candidates for an AdjunctProfessor of Data Science in the Computer Science and SoftwareEngineering department. The successful candidate will teachundergraduate and/or graduate-level courses in Data Science.

Part-time adjunct faculty members typically teach 3-6 credits persemester, with class schedules determined based on departmentalneeds and candidate availability. Courses are taught in person atthe West Long Branch campus. Adjunct positions remain postedcontinuously to expand the university's pool of qualified adjunctfaculty. Duties and Responsibilities

• Teach 3-6 credits of undergraduate and/or graduate-level DataScience courses each semester, including topics such as dataanalytics, machine learning, ethics and bias in AI, applications ofdata science, advanced data science techniques, natural languageprocessing, deep learning, computer vision, and low-code/no-codedata analysis.
• Develop and deliver course lectures, discussions andassignments in accordance with the curriculum and learningobjectives.
• Provide time during the week to meet with students outsideofclass.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment conduciveto student engagement and academic success.
• Develop and administer projects and exams to evaluate studentlearning outcomes and provide grades in a timely manner.
• Provide timely feedback and guidance to students to supporttheir learning and development.
