Job summary

Governors State University’s College of Education and Leadership seeks to create an available pool of Adjunct Faculty candidates to teach courses in our Education and Leadership departments. Courses taught by adjunct faculty in the above programs are for undergraduates, graduates, or a combination of both.

Adjuncts are hired as temporary faculty with teaching responsibilities for a specific course in a semester or summer session.

Qualifications

• Must have a Master’s degree in a related discipline.
• Experience teaching college students is expected.
• Online teaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Education and Leadership.
• Prepare and deliver course materials and assessments.
• Adhere to term-specific teaching schedules and university policies.
