Job summary

UCNJ Union College of Union County, NJ seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach Computer Science topics including digital forensics, cyber law and ethics, network forensics, cloud and personal device forensics (day courses) for Fall 2026.

Courses will be offered at Cranford, Elizabeth, and Plainfield campuses with responsibilities spanning instruction, student assessment, and collaboration with department leadership.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree required.
• Some teaching experience is required.
• Unofficial college transcripts must be submitted prior to interview; official transcripts upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Teaches assigned CS courses as published in the catalog and syllabus.
• Incorporates library, computing, and diverse perspectives into the curriculum.
• Maintains grade and attendance records and submits reports by deadlines.
• Advises Division Dean/Assistant Dean of absences in a timely manner.
• Plans in advance to ensure availability of textbooks and equipment for teaching.
• Adheres to college policies and contributes to assessment of learning outcomes.
