Job summary

Metro State University seeks community (adjunct) faculty to teach 4-credit courses in the Department of Computer Science and Cybersecurity, including Web Design, Computer Organization, Database Management, and Networks and Security. Courses are offered across in-person, online, and hybrid modalities.

Minimum qualifications include a Master’s or terminal degree in the discipline or related field, with additional credentials or experience, and a commitment to inclusive education.

Qualifications

• All faculty teaching undergraduate courses must meet one of the listed minimum qualifications.
• Experience across in-person, online and/or hybrid course modalities is expected.
• Preferred qualifications include teaching biology courses and using Brightspace D2L.

Education

Master’s degree or terminal degree in discipline

Master’s degree with related interdisciplinary field

Master’s/terminal degree with coursework in discipline

Master’s/terminal degree with 2+ years related work experience

Bachelor’s degree plus 18 graduate credits or equivalent certification

Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years related work experience or 18 graduate credits
