Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking adjunct instructors for CHM110L Chemistry II Lab. Two sections are available (Tue 8:00–11:00, Thu 12:45–3:45).

The position is part-time and temporary for Spring 2027, on campus in Buhl Hall laboratories. Responsibilities include supervising the weekly lab, preparing students for experiments, enforcing safety, grading lab reports, and coordinating with the lead instructor and department chair.

Formación

• Master's degree in chemistry or a closely related field with relevant experience.
• PhD in chemistry or a closely related field is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and teach the weekly laboratory section on campus.
• Prepare students for each experiment and enforce laboratory safety procedures.
• Grade lab reports and submit grades on time.
• Coordinate with the lead lab instructor and the department chair.
• Manage chemical handling.
