Job summary

Western Iowa Tech Community College is seeking an adjunct Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Instructor to work with nurse aide students in clinical, lab, or classroom settings, as assigned by the Division Chair of Allied Health. The instructor will guide and teach students, evaluate performance, and provide constructive feedback.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with minimum two years of nursing experience, at least one year in long-term care facility services.
• RN shall have completed a course in teaching adults or have experience teaching adults or supervising nurse aides.
• Familiarity with state and national nursing education standards (preferred).
• Train-the-Trainer certificate or other documentation of teaching adults or supervising nurse.

Job Description

Adjunct CNA instructor work with nurse aide students in clinical, laboratory or classroom areas as assigned by the Division Chair of Allied Health. These CNA instructors are registered nurses who have acquired significant competence and practical experience in the nursing field. They guide and teach nurse aide students, evaluating student performance and providing feedback.

Required Qualifications
