Job summary

State of Georgia, through Southeastern Technical Institute, seeks an Adjunct Biology Instructor to teach General Biology I, Anatomy and Physiology I & II, and Microbiology with labs. Courses may be held at Vidalia and/or Swainsboro campuses and with local high schools.

Part-time, temporary role; salary commensurate with education and experience; open until filled. Minimum qualification: Master’s in biology with 18 graduate hours in teaching discipline; post-secondary teaching experience

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in biology from a regionally accredited college or university with 18 graduate semester hours or equivalent in the teaching discipline.
  • Post-secondary teaching experience preferred.
  • Faculty must be credentialed to satisfy all appropriate accrediting bodies for the course assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Teach biology credit courses in General Education, including General Biology I and Anatomy & Physiology I and II, and Microbiology, with related labs.
  • Meet teaching responsibilities on the Vidalia and/or Swainsboro campus and local high schools as needed.

Job Description

Position requires teaching responsibilities for biology credit courses in the area of General Educaiton including courses such as General Biology I and !!, Anatomy and Physiology I and II, and Microbiology, along with accompanying labs for each course. Teaching responsibilities may occur on the Vidalia and/or Swainsboro campus as well as local high schools.

Qualifications

Minimum of a Master's Degree in biology from a regionally accredited college or university with 18 graduate semester hours or equivalent in the teaching discipline Post-secondary teaching experience is preferred.
