Rock Valley College invites applications for an Adjunct Biology position in the Biology (BIO) department. The role focuses on delivering course content in both lecture and lab formats, following syllabi, and guiding students toward achieving course outcomes.

Dean of Mathematics and Sciences
Reporting to the Dean of Mathematics and Sciences, Adjunct Faculty will work to follow the course syllabi and lessons, activities, assignments, and assessments that accommodate diverse learning styles, ensuring students achieve the course objectives and outcomes. They will apply learner-centered teaching principles to engage and inspire students, encouraging active participation throughout the educational experience. Adjunct Faculty are also responsible for evaluating students, maintaining accurate and timely records, and ensuring the completion of attendance verification, academic progress reports, and final course grades.
