St. Mary's University of San Antonio, a private, Catholic and Marianist university invites applications for renewable, adjunct instructor (term) positions in the Department of Biological Sciences beginning August 2026. We are seeking life scientists with teaching expertise at the university level to teach one or more of the following areas: Anatomy and Physiology I & II lectures and labs for primarily nursing and exercise & sports science majors, General Biology I & II for majors, Microbiology for the Health Professions, and other courses as needed.
The Department of Biological Sciences employs 14 full-time faculty and serves approximately 230 undergraduate majors. Class sizes are small with an average student‑faculty ratio of 17:1. The department is active in research and offers abundant opportunities for collaborations and professional development.
