Job summary

Mercy University is seeking passionate Anatomy and Physiology instructors to join our adjunct faculty at the Dobbs Ferry and Bronx campuses. In-person lectures and labs will be taught to undergraduate students, with emphasis on clear communication and engaging pedagogy.

Candidates should hold an MS in Anatomy and Physiology (PhD preferred) and demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with experience in LMS platforms.

Qualifications

• Record of excellent teaching at the undergraduate level is preferred.
• Experience teaching Anatomy and Physiology I or II labs and/or lectures to undergraduates is required.
• Commitment to working with a diverse population of undergraduate students.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong computer skills with LMS experience, Blackboard preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach Anatomy and Physiology labs and/or lectures to undergraduate students.
• Deliver in-person instruction at Dobbs Ferry and/or Bronx campuses.
• Assess student performance and provide timely feedback.
• Collaborate with department colleagues to maintain curriculum quality.
