Job summary

Jersey College is seeking an Algebra Adjunct Instructor for Thursdays from 11:30am to 2:30pm to support our Nursing Program. The role involves delivering instruction at an RN/PN level, evaluating student performance, and maintaining attendance and grade records within a collaborative faculty setting.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree with teaching hours, preferably a Master’s, and prior teaching experience is welcome but not required.

• Master degree is preferred

Position: Algebra Adjunct Instructor - Thursdays - 11:30am-2:30pm

Jersey College has positions available in our Nursing Program. We are looking for individuals who have a desire and passion for teaching and will take both pride and ownership in the success of their students.

Essential Functions

• Preparing student progress reports and grade reports
• Maintaining accurate and timely attendance records
• Evaluating student competence based on program philosophy and objectives
• Implementing evaluation devices of student learning and clinical experience to measure progress and competency
• Attending faculty meetings
• Maintaining professional qualifications through participation in continuing education programs, in-service training, and academic courses
• Perform other duties as required by the program director, program dean, or campus administration
