Divergent is seeking an Additive Manufacturing Technician to support production of high-quality components through AM and post-processing equipment. The role emphasizes safe, FOD-free operations, meeting engineering, quality, and customer specs while achieving production targets.

You will operate on a 3–4 x 11-hour schedule with a choice of 1st or 2nd shift and a 6% second-shift differential; collaborate with leads and teams to optimize processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Schedule

This position follows a 3–4 x 11-hour schedule. Employees are assigned to a consistent 1st or 2nd shift and one of the schedules below:

Purpose

The Additive Manufacturing Technician position is to support the production of high-quality, precision components through FOD free operations which includes additive manufacturing and post-processing equipment. This role ensures that Additive Manufacturing operations run efficiently; parts consistently meet engineering, quality, and customer specifications, while meeting production targets safely and efficiently.

The Role

• The Additive Manufacturing Technician plays a vital role in the daily execution of additive manufacturing (AM) operations. The AM Technician is expected to exemplify our core values and demonstrate operational excellence. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with good mechanical aptitude, good hand-eye coordination with an understanding of production workflows, can adapt to shifting priorities, and is eager to learn and have competency with AM processes. The technician is responsible for maintaining exceptional quality and efficiency throughout production, while working collaboratively with leads, supervisors, and management to meet operational goals and continuously improve processes

Basic Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on experience in Additive Manufacturing or Manufacturing.
• Experience in aerospace or automotive AM environments.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality standards is a plus.
• Experience with highly technical equipment such as lasers, MRI’s, EDM’s, Robotics, CNC’s, and CMM.

Work Environment

• Frequent standing, kneeling, walking, climbing, and machine operation in a factory setting.
• A supportive and innovative team environment.
• Must be able to lift 30+ lbs and perform hands-on physical tasks safely.

Compensation

At Divergent, our pay range is based on the level of the job. For this role, we will consider candidates at levels T01 - T03 as evaluated through our interview process.

• T01 / Technician I: $27 - $31
• T02 / Technician II: $31 - $39
• T03 / Technician III: $33 - $39

Pay Range: $31 USD - $39 USD
