Job summary

Space Kinetic’s Additive Manufacturing Development Program invites recent graduates to join our El Segundo headquarters for a three-month, full-time, onsite experience. You will pair with a mentor, work on 1–3 meaningful projects, and contribute to aerospace-grade AM processes.

As an Additive Manufacturing Participant, you will collaborate with design engineers to improve part designs, manage parts through the AM workflow, and document processes meeting aerospace quality standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills required.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial workplace.
• Ability to learn quickly and work with minimal direction; strong written communication.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design engineers to improve component designs for additive manufacturing.
• Manage parts through the AM workflow: material selection, DoE, fabrication, and delivery.
• Establish and document AM processes that meet aerospace quality standards.
