Job summary

Impulse is seeking an Additive Engineer in Redondo Beach to support development and production of additive propulsion hardware. You will work with propulsion engineers and manufacturing engineers to take hardware from drawings to functional, robust hardware.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design, analysis, materials, responsible engineers and other manufacturing engineers in developing the next iteration of propulsion hardware.
• Work hands-on with additive platforms, including optimization, troubleshooting, and calibration, while coordinating with OEMs for improvements.
• Drive and identify projects to make the printer platforms more robust and repeatable based on machine issues, failed builds, and sensor monitoring/in process data acquisition.
• Produce and optimize strategies for full manufacturing processes (procedures, quality verifications
• Working with vendors to define requirements for additively manufacturing hardware
• Develop new additive processes & materials to support efficient propulsion products

Description

As an Additive Manufacturing Engineer at Impulse, you will assist in supporting the development and production of additive products for our propulsion system.
