Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Aurora, CO is seeking Mental Health Therapists/Substance Abuse Counselors for a Detox and Residential facility. You will develop individualized treatment plans, facilitate individual, group, family, and couples therapy, and coordinate aftercare planning for an assigned caseload.

This in-person role emphasizes crisis management, documentation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to support clients toward recovery and lasting engagement in treatment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field.
• Active Colorado licensure or certification (LAC, LPCC, LPC, LSW, LCSW, CAS, CAC III, ADDC, etc.)
• Strong clinical judgment, observation, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and strict confidentiality
• Experience in substance use disorder, mental health, or co-occurring disorders

Responsibilities

We are currently hiring Mental Health Therapists/Substance Abuse Counselors for our Detox and Residential treatment facility in Aurora, CO.
