Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Aurora, CO is seeking Mental Health Therapists/Substance Abuse Counselors for our detox and residential treatment facility. You will develop treatment plans and provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients on their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field.
• Active Colorado licensure or certification (LAC, LPCC, LPC, LSW, LCSW, CAS, [CAC III,] ADDC, etc.)
• Strong clinical judgment, observation, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and strict confidentiality
• Experience in substance use disorder, mental health, or co-occurring disorders preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Facilitate individual, group, family, and couples therapy
• Manage clinical services and aftercare planning for assigned caseload
• Prevent, intervene, and de-escalate during crisis situations
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of progress, risks, and interventions
• Collaborate with the Clinical Director, multidisciplinary treatment team, and families

We provide evidence-based, individualized care across the full continuum of services, including detox, residential, PHP, IOP, and outpatient treatment. We are currently hiring Mental Health Therapists/Substance Abuse Counselors for our Detox and Residential treatment facility in Aurora, CO.

What You'll Do
