Job summary

Guardian Recovery in Texas is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide all nursing services, supervise medical/psychiatric care, and coordinate with physicians and outside resources within the detox and treatment program.

You will participate in interdisciplinary teams, administer medications, monitor withdrawal, document care, and contribute to master treatment planning under the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a Community College with Practical Nurse Degree.
• Experience in chemical dependency/psychiatric settings preferred.
• Must have two years of sobriety prior to hire if recovering from a substance use disorder.

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing documentation within 24 hours of admission.
• Administer medications and monitor detoxification processes.
• Transcribe physician orders and implement medical protocols.
• Provide routine nursing care under supervision of the Medical Director.
