Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking an Addiction Recovery Professional at Indiana State Prison in Michigan City, Indiana. Under supervision of the Facility Director of Addiction Recovery Services, you will conduct comprehensive substance use assessments and provide group and individual counseling for patients in addiction services, guiding progress from enrollment to discharge.

The role requires a graduate degree and appropriate CADAC II or higher licensure, with responsibilities including collaboration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services field preferred.
• CADAC II+ certification/licensure or higher or the ability to obtain within 24 months of hiring.
• Must show tuberculosis screening and active CPR, first-aid, BLS, and AED certification.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.

We are seeking an Addiction Recovery Professional at Indiana State Prison in Michigan City, Indiana.

Under the supervision of the Facility Director of Addiction Recovery Services (ARS) and in collaboration with multidisciplinary team, the Addiction Recovery Professional conducts comprehensive substance use assessments and provides group and individual counseling for patients participating in addiction services. This licensed professional will follow patient progress from a clinical standpoint from enrollment to discharge from addiction recovery treatment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services field preferred
• Certified Alcohol and Drug Addiction Consultant II (CADAC II+, LAC, LAC-A, LSW) or higher certification/licensure or the ability to obtain within 24 months of hiring date
• Must show/obtain current tuberculosis screening documentation and active CPR, first-aid, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use certification
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable

Available Shift: full-time days, Monday-Friday
