Job summary

The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria seeks an addiction psychiatrist to develop and lead a new addiction psychiatry fellowship, in collaboration with the Department Chair.

The faculty member will develop outpatient and community-based services, oversee education, scholarship, and outreach, and supervise residents and medical students.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in adult and addiction psychiatry.
• Strong leadership and program development skills.
• Comfortable directing education and outreach programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop an ACGME-accredited addiction psychiatry fellowship.
• Administer and oversee operations, teaching, and recruitment.
• Provide direct patient care and supervise residents and medical students.
• Perform duties appropriate to academic rank.
• Collaborate with community partners on program initiatives.
