Job summary
Advanced Recovery Systems is hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner/Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide medical and mental health services across our WA facilities. You will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with addiction and co-occurring disorders, collaborating closely with the leadership team and other clinicians.
The role requires an MSN/FNP with Psychiatric NP credentials and a valid DEA license.
Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse with Master's Degree or higher to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in the appropriate state.
- DEA license to prescribe controlled medications and have training on Buprenorphine prescribing per state requirements.
- Experience in Addiction Medicine/ Primary Behavioral Health preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical and mental health services per ARS policies and regulations.
- Screen for co-occurring mental health issues and substance use disorders.
- Document diagnoses, progress notes, and treatment plans in the EHR accurately.
- Collaborate with facility leadership, NPs, PAs, and clinical staff to ensure patient safety and quality care.
- Meet on-call responsibilities and respond within one hour when scheduled.
