Job summary

Alpine Springs Addiction Treatment in Linesville, PA is seeking an Addiction Counselor/Therapist to provide chemical dependency services at our Linesville facility. You will conduct assessments, deliver individual and group counseling, and educate families to support recovery.

We value empathetic, team-oriented professionals who can multitask, maintain confidentiality, and document care per PA and CARF standards. Full-time with benefits; adaptable scheduling with some evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Associates/Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Human Service Field.
• Pursuit toward CAC or related certification.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred but training available.
• Experience in Drug and Alcohol settings preferred but not required.
• Compliance with PA Dept. of Health Rules and CARF standards.
• Excellent documentation and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Document full assessment, treatment plan, progress notes and discharge summary.
• Provide individual and group counseling services.
• Offer family counseling and education to clients and families.
• Maintain client confidentiality at all times.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and audits.
• Other duties as assigned.
