Job summary

APPLUS IDIADA is seeking drivers to perform ADAS-related driving tests and data collection across defined routes and conditions. You will document observations, monitor sensor performance, and provide feedback on usability and driver experience while maintaining strict safety and data handling protocols.

Role requires maintaining a clean driving record, working with ADAS features, and readiness to work outdoors with variable hours.

Qualifications

• 5 years of licensed driving experience.
• Must have current Driver's License and a clean driving record for a minimum of 7years.
• Experience working with ADAS features highly preferred.
• We are a drug free work environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out driving services on vehicles per customer specifications.
• Drive routes across defined routes through various terrain and weather conditions.
• Monitor and evaluate ADAS function performance during real-world driving conditions.
• Provide and document user-level feedback on ADAS usability, effectiveness, and driver experience.
• Maintain vigilance when ADAS features are active and avoid over-reliance.
• Communicate clearly with other drivers or operators during operation.
• Monitor and manage onboard data collection systems during vehicle operation.
• Verify proper functioning of sensors, cameras, and recording equipment.
• Document test runs, conditions, and observations in real-time.
• Upload, organize, and categorize collected data according to protocols.
• Perform quality checks on collected data for completeness and accuracy.
• Flag data anomalies or system issues for technical review.
• Prepare before shift with vehicle inspections.
• Manage data acquisition systems to ensure accurate data retrieval.
• Understand limitations of ADAS functions and intervene when necessary.
• Follow project manager instructions.
• Perform daily reporting and when required by the program manager.
