TechDigital Group in Dearborn, MI, seeks a Safety Software Engineer to analyze feature safety requirements and develop software safety requirements, and to design the safety software architecture. You will develop MATLAB/Simulink models to meet ASIL D, perform MIL/SIL activities, analyze issues, support suppliers, and contribute to ISO 26262 compliance and ASPICE processes.

You will also work on calibrations, bench and unit testing, and build comprehensive safety cases with required test

Formación

• Experience with ISO 26262 and safety case development.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for safety modeling.
• Familiarity with ASPICE processes.
• Ability to analyze and debug safety-related software.
• Experience with MIL/SIL and code generation.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze feature safety requirements and develop software safety requirements.
• Develop the safety software architecture based on the software safety requirements.
• Develop MATLAB/Simulink models to meet ASIL D requirements.
• Perform MIL/SIL activities and code generation.
• Conduct issue analysis and debugging of safety software.
• Provide supplier support and troubleshooting.
• Support feature owners and application teams for calibrations.
• Develop work products per ISO 26262 Chapter 6 and collect test evidence for software safety cases.
• Contribute to ASPICE compliance and process improvements.
• Perform bench and unit testing.
