Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be flexible and willing to adapt to change on short notice.
• Extensive knowledge of elementary education concepts and Virginia standards.
• Ability to assess, monitor and use data to differentiate instruction; organize, schedule and monitor program effectiveness; communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Improvise lessons in emergency situations where the teacher cannot provide detailed plans.
• Plan, prepare and deliver curriculum content to students.
• Establish clear objectives for all activities.
• Use district curricula to plan daily instructional activities.
• Deliver intervention services based on goals established by the district and state.
