GardaWorld Security in Brentwood, NY is seeking a casual Security Officer – Response to adapt across missions—from customer service to patrols and surveillance. The role requires agility, precise execution, and a calm approach under pressure.

As a Special Response/Flex Security Guard, you will monitor premises, control access, report incidents, and collaborate with authorities. A NYS security license, HS diploma or GED, and the ability to pass screenings are required.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
• Responsive and strong problem solving skills
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
• NYS security license

Responsibilities

• Monitor the premises to ensure security
• Conduct patrols to spot any suspicious activity
• Control access points and verify identities
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
