Job summary

Crystal Springs in Assonet, MA is seeking a dedicated Adapted Physical Education Teacher to develop and deliver engaging physical education programs that support students' unique abilities and IEPs. This full-time role offers collaboration with therapists and educators.

You'll create individualized activities, monitor progress, and adjust plans to help students build motor skills, confidence, and independence in a supportive residential setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in PE/Adapted PE.
• Experience teaching is preferred.
• Must participate in 24 hours of annual in-service training.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and coordinate PE programs aligned with each student's IEP.
• Create engaging PE experiences to build motor skills, confidence, independence.
• Collaborate with therapists, educators, and support staff to adapt activities.
