Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides direct instructional services using evidence-based practices to students with disabilities.
• Assesses student abilities related to goals and outcomes.
• Collaborates with general education teachers to coordinate programs and modifications.
• Participates in IEP, eligibility, and triennial meetings.
• Plans and utilizes assistive technology for classroom instruction.
• Communicates accommodations to teachers and parents.
• Supervises paraprofessionals and volunteers.
• Adheres to laws governing special education.
