Job summary

Fort Wayne Community School District is seeking qualified teachers to educate all students to high standards in line with district, state, and federal requirements. The position follows the school year schedule with standard hours 7:45am-3:45pm.

Applicants must hold a valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grades/subjects or be eligible for an alternative credential. Licensure options include Elementary Generalist K-6 or Early Childhood Education P-3.

Qualifications

• Valid Indiana teaching license for assigned grade levels and/or subject areas, or eligible to obtain an alternative credential.
• Knowledge of effective practices including principles, theories, procedures, and techniques used in lesson plan development and classroom instruction.
• REPA/REPA 3 licensure options: Elementary Generalist K-6; Early Childhood Education P-3.
