What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

• Plan, install, configure, and implement SAG ADABAS software products and related tools
• Develop and execute disaster recovery strategies, including offsite restoration procedures
• Monitor and analyze ADABAS performance and ensure compliance with audits and regulatory standards
• Troubleshoot Natural program issues and perform dump analysis
• Automate ADABAS startup/shutdown using Tivoli System Automation or compatible tools

What is Required (Qualifications):

• Minimum of 12+ years of experience with SAG ADABAS database systems
• At least 5+ years of recent experience with ADABAS on z/OS
• Proven expertise in disaster recovery planning and performance tuning
• Strong knowledge of z/OS and IBM CICS parameter tuning
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

• Hands‑on experience with ADABAS Cluster Services in IBM z/OS Parallel Sysplex
• Experience supporting CICS Natural applications in CICSPlex environments
• Familiarity with SAG tools such as PREDICT, REVIEW DB, and Natural Monitor
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
