Job summary

Mercy Hospital Ada is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our imaging team. Graduates of an accredited program with required clinical hours are encouraged to apply; state licensure may be required depending on practice state.

The position offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance is considered. You will operate radiographic equipment, perform imaging procedures, and contribute to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program with required clinical hours.
• State licensure may be required depending on practice location.
• ARRT registry or registry eligibility; achieve registry within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Capable of manipulating x-ray equipment, including mobile units.
• Carrying cassettes and adjusting exposure factors.
• Evaluating radiographs and ensuring patient safety.
• Lifting/moving patients and standing/walking for extended periods.
• Communicating effectively and responding to emergencies.

This individual must be capable of: manipulating x-ray equipment, including mobile and other equipment; carrying cassettes; selecting and manipulating exposure factors; evaluating radiographs; lifting, moving, and transporting patients; continual standing and walking; recognizing emergency situations; adapting to stressful situations; communicating effectively.

Equipment Used: This individual should be proficient in the use of: radiographic equipment, radiographic processors, computers.
