Job summary

Mercy Hospital Ada is seeking a registered nurse for a full-time Day Shift in Med Surg 3N. The RN will utilize the nursing process to provide patient care, coordinate with other departments, and ensure patient rights and confidentiality are maintained in a values-driven environment.

Ideal candidates are graduates of accredited nursing programs with an active RN license (state or compact) and relevant certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS) to meet hospital competencies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the hiring state or a compact license and eligible to practice.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care for assigned patients.
• Maintains accountability for care provided and evaluates effectiveness of care by others.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments while protecting patient rights.

Qualifications:

• Required Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.(Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications: Completes Hospital and required nursing competencies, mandatory in-services/MyEducation assignments and relevant certifications (ex. BLS, ACLS, PALS, etc.) within required time frame.
