Job summary

Mercy in Oklahoma is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging while prioritizing patient safety and comfort. You will operate CT equipment, ensure image quality, and communicate with patients and clinicians to support accurate diagnoses.

No prior experience is required, but graduation from an accredited imaging program with clinical hours is expected. State licensure may be required; ARRT registry or registry-eligibility with BLS within 30 days of hire is typical.

The CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. The CT Technologist must also effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.

Position Details:

Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completion of required clinical hours.
• Experience: no experience required
• Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
• Certification/Registration: Obtained ARRT registry OR Registry eligible (Achieve registry within 6 months of eligibility); Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
