Job summary

Community Care Alliance in Providence, RI seeks an ASU Counselor (Full Time) to join the Acute Stabilization Unit. You will provide individual counseling, conduct biopsychosocial assessments, and lead group treatment sessions with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate has at least six months of community mental health experience, a Bachelor's degree in social work or psychology, and LCDP licensure preferred (may be substituted for a degree).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related human services required.
• LCDP preferred and can substitute for a degree.
• Minimum six months of community mental health experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual supportive counseling to identified clients.
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and group treatment sessions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and pursue licensure supervision.
