Qualifications

• Graduate of a master’s degree program accredited by the Education Standards Board.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or be CCC eligible.
• Experience with adult and geriatric populations with physical disabilities is desired.

Responsibilities

• Provides speech therapy services including assessment, treatment planning, and interventions.
• Documents care provided and coordinates patient’s care plan.
• Demonstrates accountability for program development and productivity enhancement.

Skills

Strong clinical skills in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation

Ability to communicate clearly with a diverse population

Demonstrates ability to adapt and utilize problem-solving techniques

Ability to work well as a team member and leader

Ability to read and interpret policies and standards

Experience with adult and geriatric populations

CPR Certification

Education

Master’s degree in speech therapy or equivalent

Current state license in Georgia
