Job summary

Mercy Health in Cincinnati is seeking a Med-Surg Registered Nurse for the Acute Care Rehabilitation unit at West Hospital. The RN will deliver exceptional nursing care by assessing patient status, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team, and developing patient care plans to improve outcomes.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, at least one year of RN experience, and a current RN license. BLS is preferred prior to direct patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required or preferred.
• One year of RN experience required.
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS certification preferred upon hire (must obtain prior to direct patient care).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Collect vital signs, administer IV medications, assess patient condition.
• Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
• Administer medications in a safe manner consistent with Mercy Health policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
